On December 23, LiuGong, Liuzhou Vocational and Technical College (LVTC),
and Thailand's Panyapiwat Institute of Management (PIM) held a signing ceremony
for international cooperation in vocational education, formally establishing the
"LiuGong–LVTC Global Customer Experience Center --Thailand Branch" and the
"LiuGong–LVTC Thailand Vocational College." Vice President of LiuGong Luo
Guobing, Secretary of LVTC Liu Zilin, and President of PIM Sompop Manarungsan
signed the contract on behalf of the three parties. A total of 39 leaders from
the three parties attended the signing ceremony.
今年4月30日，柳工-柳职院境外合作办学签约仪式顺利举行，开启了境外办学之旅。泰国柳工工作人员积极寻找合适的当地院校，并经过实地考察和多次协商，最终选择了与泰国正大管理学院合作。
On April 30th, 2021, the signing ceremony for the LiuGong–LVTC
international cooperation in vocational education was held successfully —
commencing the two parties' joint overseas education and training efforts.
LiuGong Thailand staff actively searched for suitable local colleges and
universities to partner with. After site visits and many negotiations, the team
finally chose to partner and work with PIM.

In his speech, Luo Guobing introduced LiuGong's development in both
Thailand and the global market. LiuGong has been active in the Thailand market
for 12 years, and its wheel loaders currently hold about 50% market share. In
addition, Mr.Luo also commended the long-term support LVTC has provided LiuGong
in talent training. Statistics show that LVTC has trained more than 3,000
outstanding technical talents for LiuGong, many of whom have developed into
outstanding engineers and made significant contributions to LiuGong's overseas
development.
签约仪式上，刘子林代表柳职院发言。刘书记回顾了柳工与柳职院30多年不断升级的合作历程，高度赞赏泰国正大集团的办学理念，并对三方合作寄予厚望，希望三方能共同克服疫情带来的阻碍，推动合作项目的实施，实现优势互补，三方共赢。
At the signing ceremony, Liu Zilin spoke on behalf of LVTC. He reviewed the
30-year-long cooperation between LiuGong and LVTC. He also commended PIM's
educational and operational philosophy, and spoke of the optimism he has for the
success of the tripartite cooperation. Secretary Liu mentioned his hopes for the
three parties to be able to jointly overcome the obstacles posed by the pandemic
so as to enable successful implementation of the cooperation projects and the
beneficial outcomes for all three parties.
Sompop
Manarangsan在发言中对柳工和柳职院在工程机械以及职业教育领域的成就表示赞赏，并对三方合作表示充满信心，相信通过合作将进一步提高正大管理学院在工程机械专业上的实践能力。
In his speech, Dr. Sompop Manarungsan lauded LiuGong and LVTC's
achievements in the fields of construction machinery and vocational education.
He expressed his confidence in the tripartite cooperation, and his belief that
the cooperation will further improve PIM's practical capabilities in the field
of construction machinery.
此次境外办学，将颠覆以往的传统模式，采用“2+2”(“中文+职业技能”)模式：1年级和2年级为泰国通用教学，3年级和4年级将转为柳工班，使用柳工与柳职院的教学教材，同时柳工和柳职院将为海外“柳工”班提供老师，开展网络和实地的课堂教学。
The overseas school will overturn the previous traditional model and adopt
the "2+2" ("Chinese + Vocational Skills") model. Year 1 and Year 2 will be
general teaching in Thailand, and Year 3 and Year 4 will shift to "LiuGong
classes”, using teaching material from LiuGong and LVTC. Both parties will
provide teachers for the overseas "LiuGong classes” and carry out online and
on-site classroom instruction.
该项目的开展，必将进一步加强校企合作、深化产教融合，为柳工海外业务培养更多高素质技能人才，为柳工海外发展提供坚实的人才和技能支撑，把柳工打造成具有全球竞争力的世界级企业。
The development of this project will further strengthen college–enterprise
collaboration, deepen the integration of production and education, and cultivate
more high-quality, skilled talent for LiuGong's overseas business. It will also
provide solid talent and skills support for LiuGong's overseas development,
helping to consolidate LiuGong's position as a world-class enterprise with
global competitiveness.
