陈文灿先生自2002年1月起担任卡特彼勒（中国）投资有限公司总裁职务，负责卡特彼勒公司在华总体业务以及战略实施。
陈文灿先生担任卡特彼勒亚太部中国区董事，全权负责在中国大陆，香港，台湾及韩国的产品分销体系的管理事宜。
陈文灿先生已在卡特彼勒供职30年之久，先后在美国，香港，马来西亚，新加坡，斯里兰卡，文莱，菲律宾，台湾和韩国等许多国家和地区的机构任职。他在长期的工作中积累了丰富的经验，包括卡特彼勒公司产品开发，营销，分销以及政府关系协调等。
陈文灿先生是卡特彼勒（中国）投资有限公司董事会成员，同时也是美中贸易委员会和美中商会会员。
陈文灿先生毕业于香港大学， 并且获得机械工程学士学位和工业工程硕士学位。
M.C. Chan is President of Caterpillar (China) Investment,a position he has held since January 2002. In this role,M.C. assumes all executive responsibilities,public affairs and business operation management. He is a key figure in the strategic planning for Caterpillar in China.
M.C. is also appointed as Caterpillar’s China Regional Director in Asia Pacific Division,with the overall responsibility of distribution channel management in China,Hong Kong,Taiwan and Korea.
Mr. Chan has been working for Caterpillar for the last 30 years with international working experience in countries,such as U.S.A,Malaysia,Singapore,Sri Lanka,Brunei,Philippines,Taiwan and Korea prior to moving to Beijing in 1999. His experience crosses different fields of Caterpillar business including product development,marketing,distribution and government relations’ management.
M.C. is on the board of directors of Caterpillar (China) Investment Co.,Ltd.,a member of the US-China Business Council and American-Chamber of Commerce.
He holds a bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering and a master’s degree in Industrial Engineering,both from the University of Hong Kong.
